A study published recently shows that online learning outcomes are equivalent to in-person classroom outcomes, which means that remote training outcomes are comparable to that of students who completed their brain training programs in a training centre.
Furthermore, Dr. Amy Moore, educational psychologist and director of the Gibson Institute for Cognitive Research asserts that virtual therapies, including speech therapy, counselling, and brain training can be administered via telehealth—and that the benefits are the same.
This comprehensive list of more than 1000 teletherapy research studies provided by the Tele-behavioural Health Institute and thousands more teletherapy studies categorized by the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers show that teletherapy has been effective for countless individuals across the spectrum, from depression and anxiety to traumatic brain injury. This has also been seen in our online brain training program as students who have completed their one-on-one training with a virtual brain trainer have achieved the same results as students who completed their programs in-person in our training centre.
